Tractor Disc Harrows & Disk Hillers

Disc hillers are important tractor attachments. They are connected to the 3 point hitch on the tractor in order to come up with raised rows with furrows in between. Disc hillers are available in single row configurations. These tractor implements are helpful in creating raised beds and rows.

Tractor disc harrows or are another farm implement that function like soil cultivators. It prepares the soil to be planted with crops. It has slightly concave iron steel discs lined up in two or four sections. These features allow it to slice the ground and loosen soil. Doing so makes it easy for water to penetrate into the soil and help plants get proper nutrients and aeration. In addition to plowing, a disc plow can also chop cornstalks, roots, small bushes and other taller crops.
